Terms of Use
Last updated 2026-08-02. Written in good faith by the person who built this app. A legal review is being arranged and this page will be updated when it happens — that is stated rather than hidden, because a policy that overclaims its own authority is the first thing worth distrusting. English only for now; Ukrainian and Polish follow the legal review, so that all three say the same reviewed thing rather than three drafts.
This is not medical care or an emergency service
Murro is a self-tracking tool and an AI companion for people living with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. It is not a therapist, doctor, or crisis line, and it cannot diagnose, treat, or prescribe anything. If you are in immediate danger or having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line directly — do not rely on this app.
What the app is
A daily tracker for medication, sleep, and mood, a library of DBT/CBT-style coping techniques, and a companion chatbot that can reference your own logged data. A built-in, non-AI safety filter checks every message you send before the AI ever sees it; if it detects crisis-adjacent language, it skips the AI entirely and shows you a real crisis-line number for your country instead.
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If mental-health regulations in your country set a different minimum age for this kind of service, that age applies instead.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you log — the tracker and the bot's suggestions are only as useful as what you put in. You can export or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
The companion bot
The bot is powered by a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude) and can be wrong, incomplete, or miss context. It will never claim to be a licensed professional, never simulate a romantic or exclusive relationship with you, and never guilt you for being away — if it ever does, that's a bug, not intended behavior, and we'd want to know.
No warranty, limited liability
The app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
This is an early-stage, independently-run product and these terms may change as it grows. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
